Manual Therapy

Relieve stress, improve blood flow and lymph circulation, and speed healing.

Pain Management

This treatment, may include heat, ice or electrical stimulation & helps with the management of pain in conjunction with other modes of physical therapy, or when chronic pain persists during and after treatment.

Dry Needling

Dry needling is used for the treatment of pain and movement impairments.  The technique uses a “dry” needle, one without medication or injection, inserted through the skin into areas of the muscle.  It is not acupuncture, a practice based on traditional Chinese medicine and preformed by acupuncturists.  Physical therapists typically use dry needling as part of a larger treatment plan.  The goal is the releasing or inactivating a trigger point to relieve pain and improve range of motion.

The goal of traction is to reduce pain to assist the patient to become more functional. Therapeutic traction uses manually or mechanically created forces to stretch and mobilize the spine. Traction may alleviate back pain by stretching tight spinal muscles that result from spasm and widen the spinal canal to relieve nerve root impingement.
