Corinne received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University in 2010. Her education consisted of multiple internships involving manual techniques with a special interest in the spine. A few of her favorite internships were the Virginia Spine Institute and Inova Fairfax Trauma and Cardiovascular Units.
Corinne has a passion for people. Traveling to Nicaragua in May 2010 on a medical mission’s trip with Shenandoah University, she served as one of six PT’s within a group of 59 medical professionals. During that week, 1200 individuals were treated and the physical therapy team was able to educate the special needs school and only hospital, in improved rehabilitation practices.
Corinne hopes throughout her career that she can continue to help many, including reaching out to other third world countries in need. Upon graduating, Corinne also had a minor in theatre and has 18 years of dance training with a focus in ballet and pointe. She has also choreographed musical theater for six years! She comes from a family of performers and would like to incorporate her passion for theatre and work creatively within physical therapy to help patients improve.
