Maggie Croft

Maggie was born and raised in Manassas and is a graduate of Randolph College with a degree in Sport & Exercise Studies.   She has always been involved with athletics and thus recovering from injuries has always been the norm and has become a passion.    As a four year collegiate athlete and two-year captain for the Women’s Soccer team and a student worker I the Athletic Training Room, her goal was not only to avoid injuries herself, but to help fellow athletes recover from their injuries, often more severe than anything she personally sustained.   Although my job title did not require that she work hands on with athletes, she was always intrigued by the methods of rehabilitation and was often found observing evaluations.   Over the course of four years, she gained a passion for helping people of all ages, both inside and outside of the training room.   She formed close relationships with Athletic Trainers, her Coaches and her Academic Advisor.   She would often seek advice about becoming a Certified Personal Trainer and eventually a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist followed one day by coaching soccer.   Aside from soccer, she is a huge Washington Capitals fan, enjoys rock climbing, working out and travel.   Thanks to her newest colleagues she may even try her luck with Cross Fit or a marathon down the road.
