Nathan, or Nate as most people call him, received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University in 2015. As part of his clinical internships, Nate spent 12 weeks at Advantage Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation training. During this time, he came to love patient-centered approach that is invested in how the patient is doing and the use of manual skills to remedy the underlying issues. So when the opportunity arose to return to Advantage as a licensed physical therapist, Nate jumped at the opportunity.
Nate enjoys working with the team to problem solve how best to treat a pt’s issues and use everyone’s skill set. In the PT world, Nate’s interest lay in staying up to date with latest manual skills and exercises to address a patient’s movement issues to help resolve their pain or difficulties in daily life. Nate also is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association as well as attends many different activities in the Virginia Physical Therapy Association to help promote the field so Advantage may offer the best care possible to its patients.
Nate currently resides in Winchester with his Fiancé. Nate enjoys going on hikes, social activities with friends, and watching sporting events including racing and hockey in his spare time.
